um...yeah...
I don't think the physik works having an "odd" total ....
you need either an equidistant "point" from a "plane" ...
ie: 4-sided die.
or you need an equidistant "plane" from a "plane"
ie: 6-8-10-12-20-etc...sided die.
it's about the balance of the die and keeping the law of averages constant.

want a 7-point-maximum-result...
jimmy an 8-sided die to roll always -1 whatever the result....also jimmy the lowest roll not to be a zero..but a one instead.
ergo: no higher than 7 but no less than 1
there you go ...
endso's yer uncle

hmmm..
now then...
what to ask Santy Marmistrz for...
It's gotta be rakarrack ,
actually ...
wait ...
no...
jack and jack rack...
then we "could" jimmy the scads and scads and scads of cool stuff that uses jack ...
like rakarrack ...(if the rak single pane interface isn't waaaay to tiny to manage on our n900's that is)
I know we have jackd libs ..so there is sumthin' ..
how much can actually be done with it is another matter.

I love gtkgep on the n8x0 and n900...
but ...we really need more options and choice...

If you think it doable...hooray...
I'll put pennies together end of this month and I'll simply make it recurring via paypal to you........

I should point out that I added dice throwing support to Saera a few months ago. It works on the current Sailfish version and should be coming to N900 soon.

If only Saera would understand me better. Every time I say something, she interprets it as something else And I do have a relatively good English pronuciation so that's not the problem.

I suppose you could manage with a 14-side die, and just list each value twice, e.g.:

@marmistrz
Just now I saw that you are from Poland.
I don't know why I haven't noticed it before.
So is it possible to donate in Złotys (PLN) instead of Dollars (as I declared previously)?

Yes, of course.

Still, euros must be used in the spreadsheet. Otherwise we'll get a beautiful chaos combined with a wonderful mess.

1. I'm joining forces with the bounty thread: http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...76&postcount=2
2. I reserved swappiness and random numbers, see the changes there. I still have a couple of things to do, but I may drop them and rush to this if the threshold is reached.
3. There was a pledge for swappiness but it's missing now. Can you please readd it?

I marked request-nbr 22 on the list (Sailfish Wifi password recovery/list) on the openingspost as done. If the requester (Jordi) thinks it is usable for him, he could donate his money to someone like coderus

EXCELLENT! And I love the way it's done!

You do not accept donation/payment?

Phew, glad you liked it

Making things like this costs a lot of my spare time, but I don't have any financial worries at the moment. As you can't compensate me timewise, I rather see talented people like Coderus supported, who try to kinda make a living out of what they are doing. I could forward your money, but I would appreciate it if you support him directly. Thanks in advance.
