The logs I promised from yesterday (attached). 60003 is not necessarily only problem, as logs I got today don't have these anymore, yet it still fails. I haven't checked them through yet properly.
Have to sort out any possible sensitive information, so it takes time.
Edit: Update couple of minutes later: It looks like the account configuration has started to fail on N9, at least looking at msgindexer log I got today.
[1689] lokakuuta 18 21:35:36 [Debug] Watcher : ActionId: 8074538516487 statusErrorCodeChanged: "The configuration needed for the requested action is invalid."
[1689] lokakuuta 18 21:35:36 [Debug] Watcher : ActionId: 8074538516487 statusChanged: "The configuration needed for the requested action is invalid." for account 2 , folder 0 , message 0 , text ' "Unable to use account due to invalid configuration." '
[1689] lokakuuta 18 21:35:36 [Debug] Watcher : ActionId: 8074538516487 activityChanged: "The action has failed."
I'll recreate account from scratch tomorrow, and try to get as clean log as possible from the first two syncs.

I made new logs with brand new account in Exchange to sort out any possibilities with known problem causing things in Exchange, such as slightly broken calendar items. I will put them here tomorrow, but in short, the errors mentioned above quote edit part happened with new account too, but not much else than some problems about calendar notebook name having not name.
My guess is that there might be a problem in account database used in N9. Account id seems to keep growing even when I removed previous Exchange and IMAP account(s) from the device. This might also have something to do with problems people have had with Nokia accounts. The number of latest test account on my device was 6, and I only have Nokia and Skype accounts on top of that, and the number has got higher in every logging stint where I have created or recreated accounts.
If people have had to make factory resets to get Nokia accounts working, that would point at the database. Come to think of it, I think my problems with MfE begun when I created the third account (home email account) on top of Nokia and MfE. MfE had been already working well enough for me to do couple of syncs and download all my contacts through it.
But this is just an early guess, take it with grain of salt.

b) longer timeperiods for the lock code to appear; make it match
the symbian counterparts where it goes up to one hour.
(10 mins max is ridiculously annoying, I wonder how many car accident happened due to this since selling start of the n9 :-)
c) make it an option to get only updates concerning certain exchang/imap folders (i.e. only for the "favorite folders")
(announced by sound and message on unlock/homescreen)
Sergey, my company seems to be using exchange server 2007 SP 2. I have the same issue as many others with the initial sync that works but I get the red arrow the syncs after that. Can it be the same issue?
I will try to get some useful logs out of my N9 but I haven't quite got the hang of it yet
Thanks!
/S
When gathering the logs things were done in this order:
Deleted MfE-account -> Logging enabled -> Reboot ->
Creation of a new asynctest-account in Exchange with one calendar marking and one email ->
Creation of a new account in MfE on N9 ->
Initial sync (succeeds) -> Second sync (fails immediately) ->
Disabled account -> Disabled logging -> Reboot.

I'm using 'other mail account' on the N9 and have noticed 2 problems.
Firstly sometimes I receive messages with many recipients, but only the sender is visible.
Secondly some messages are received with only headers and no content at all.
Not sure if these are errors or if my settings are wrong.
Thanks for any help,

a) pinch and zoom must be enriched by text-reflow (word wrap)
that would instantly double the value of pinch'n zooming.
b) longer timeperiods for the lock code to appear; make it match
the symbian counterparts where it goes up to one hour.
(10 mins max is ridiculously annoying, i wonder how many car accident happened due to this since selling start of the n9 :-)

Aside from that:
kudos for implemention "favorite" folders and multiple exchange mailbox support. (weakest points on symbian phones)
also, the IMAP implementation seem to me excellent.
also the seamless integration into the ui is just brilliant.
