I had the same problem, looked like a dependency issue so on a hunch I installed gpodder. Now it works. I assume gpodder pulls in the missing python lib.

And also i would like to see better way to add files to playlist than one file at time. Like directory at time. I use Panucci to play audiobooks and my audiobooks are ripped from cd's. So theres like 10 files per cd. Ive been trying to join all mp3's together. But looks like Panucci can only play mp3's that lenght is ~30 minutes.
