Still haven't gotten my mail regarding shipping (but in Australia, so maybe they get processed last). Did fill in the "extended info" the requested...

Starting shipping now but large backlog

Updated as of end of July 2009: After working out some production problems, we are now starting to fill the pre-orders. However, we have a huge backlog, and as an early-stage start-up, it will take us several weeks to fill every order. Nevertheless, we are increasing our production capability to ship pre-orders as quickly as possible.

Orders will generally be filled in the order they were received, but some exceptions can be made in special situations. If you've already pre-ordered, filling out this 30-second survey will help us better determine your position in the queue.

Yeah, according to JKK, it's top heavy. More than a few degrees past verticle (in netbook mode), and it likes to fall over. Not too surprising but a little disappointing.

The top-heaviness sounds like an argument for using a detached bluetooth keyboard instead of the one they planned. I had ordered one of these things without the keyboard before I got cold feet and cancelled.

Or with a folding USB keyboard.

I understand that most of the keyboard unit contains the other battery, but is there ANY empty space...if so, possibly could put some lead weights in it.

The screen unit just needs a kickstand, that's all.
