you have to go inside /usr/lib and then run those two lines.

This maybe a stupid question but do you have installed libblas stuff.. plaa plaa.. ?

Are blas and lapack fixed in extras-devel?
(Fix broken blas and lapack for python-numpy:
as root:
cd /usr/lib/

and then when I type

ln -s libblas.so.3gf libblas.so
ln -s liblapack.so.3gf.0 liblapack.so

it says not found. This is after I type cd /usr/lib/

I have played around MyPaint 0.8.2-1maemo6.. and it is WONDERFUL! sorry, but it is ... perfect.

I have used only a non hildonized menus, so far. It works perfectly.

But today I wanted to test if there is any differences with
Hildon menus and I found some error on the Color menu .. there is a picture of that.

And one bad bug... which refuses to use Canvas rotation when I try to LAYERs command "Hide Layers Above Current".. this NOT WORK WITH "default" menu system = Hildonized menu? If you try to hide Layers Above Current and then try to Rotate canvas it gives a bug error..

These bugs not exists to the "gtk_menu" system... which I mainly use.. so to me there is no any problems so far..

MyPaint 0.8.2-1maemo6 is ... extremely FAST, no BUGs (when using "gtk_menu" thing).. and there is couple very nice bit about Color Picker now... I show some images of that.

And I am very amazed that N900+MyPaint0.8.2 can handle over 6400x4000px canvases right now ... it rotates, zooms and flip canvas just like "default" zoom level. I can really do print ready resolution with these tools.. every where. Thanks!

upgraded to maemo7 version and it's now not appearing in the menu (even after reboot). application works fine when launched from the terminal though.

note: got catorise installed, but that shouldn't pose any problem, it hasn't so far for any app and for each of the previous mypaint versions.

PS. quick question, how do i set canvas size? can't seem to find any option

After installing this app it wont start:
ImportError: liblapack.so

Please, include the package dependencies!

Mine devices says that when I launch X terminal
typed:
sudo gainroot
ln -s libblas.so.3gf libblas.so
------------------------------
ln: libblas.so: File exists
------------------------------

thanks Tone, I'll give that a go...really keen to get this working as it looks awesome!

AFAIK you can just scroll around with the arrow keys. The further you paint, the bigger the canvas.

Oh I have not yet updated to maemo7 ?!

About the Canvas size... MyPaint has basically unlimited canvas and you can not exactly define specific size.

Size defines how big is your drawing.

Now.. I have to test newest update...wish me a good luck!
