Are u thick? If every device that runs MfE supports provisioning it would be logical for consumer to assume that N900 will support it too. Agree?

Well.. it's certainly better than nothing. Thank you very much Fargus for finding at least something referencing this from an "official" of some sort. It's still third hand though... honestly - this type of information should really be documented somewhere within Nokia itself.
If you sell and market a device as being complete... it somewhat misleading for people to then find out that really it was a transitional device to the next one.
Personally.. I want the N900 for the Resistive screen which I guess the next won't have. But, I am concerned about it's future as I've expressed in other threads.. especially considering, if accurate, that the N900 is just another stepping stone culminating in M6.

Considering the target audience of the N900, it would be prudent to have done some research before buying it.
The mere fact that you have root access to the device should have told you immediately that provisioning is not supported by the device.
