Hi, I have been using and testing Starving for a day already. I also just started with overclocking yesterday too. I am quite a beginner but I know many things about overclocking since I overclock my PC all the time.

I have tested Starving on my N900 from frequencies 125-805 and so far it is stable to me. Idle to maxing the usage by running almost everything. For the first day, I tried monitoring the idle state and noticed with min freq as 125 it was a lot battery consuming. I changed it to 500 now and will be seeing the battery consumption on idle this evening. But when I set my max freq higher than 805, it is no longer stable, I can up it to 950 but apps started crashing and wont load especially angry bird, firefox and health check.

What I would like to know is how to adjust the voltage for a certain frequency. So I could up my frequency up to 1thou and be stable at the same time. I think it is because it has higher freq and not enough voltage for that freq. Please help. Thanks

I am quite getting it now. For example 850:46, 500. It follows the pattern Frequency : (46*.0125 + 0.6= voltage), 500. But what is 500? I read it is dsprate. But what does it mean? Do I have to change it too if I change the voltage?

My n900 is OC'd at limits 500Mhz - 1000Mhz, with ideal voltage.

I charged it and turned it on yesterday at 8am. I tested some apps like MicroB, Zen bound and the N64 emulator Mupen64Plus for about 30minutes.

So at 8:30am yesterday (July 7) until 1:30pm today (July 8), it's still on, around 40% battery life.

It's summer here in canada, and if i stay upstairs, where it's like 32degrees Celsius, my batteries(yes, bought extra) drain faster. Probably from overclocked CPU in a hot environment. I've moved to our basement and the performance is as I stated above...

here is what i do for getting more juice from my phone.

1. use the ideal profile and change the power save bias to 20, sampling to 3000 and change freq to 250, 805. enable smart reflex (make sure you enable only if your upper freq is below or equal 805).

2. dim the brightness to 2

3. use auto disconnect.

i can easily get a day or more with these settings...
