Do you have the same things?
A re-install (remove/install - app only) should give You a clean set of config files...

At least if You do it on the commandline:

Code:
root
apt-get purge mobile-maps
After this reinstall the package.

P.S. I'm not sure if Mobile Maps 10 has a new package name as I haven't installed it (waiting for OVI version).

Remove Mobile Maps 9 first?

I tried again this morning:
- clicked link @ e-mail
- download starts (hoorray, no expired-error!)
- downloads with full speed (1,5mbps)
- download cuts off after 127 megs
- re-download gives me link expired -error

...great.

Hi guys

I reinstalled sygic to version 10. All is good but
1)(BUG?) software doesn't remember my home location after exit. It saves correctly but then I close program, open it again drive to home, home is not set, do you want to set it now. Id doesn't keep the previous setting.

2)Is it me or is v10 less smooth, do you guys whats the supported FPS range. I remember you could change it in a config files, I would definitely want more.

Thanks

Finally got it installed, thanks to one member of this community who super-kindly shared his successfully downloaded package with me.

Pros and cons between MM9 and MM10 in my opinion:
Pros:
- ui looks nicer
- ability to navigate to contact's address

Cons:
- all basic function are laggier / slower, I mean everything from typing in the address to calculating route. Screen drawing is also laggier even the same fps have been set that I had with MM9

When they get the real-time-traffic-info online (and if it really is real time and works), then it gets one "pro" more. Other than that pretty useless upgrade since it made the basic functions less-usable than it was before.

Sygic's own server btw still gives me link expired error...

Nnavigate to contacts crashes mobile maps... perhaps some malformed address in the addressbook?

What are you referring to?

On my "contacts list" @ MM10 there's like twenty empty contact fields first and to see the actual contacts I have to scroll down the list couple times or just write in the name I'm looking for.

The list doesn't appear at all on sygic.
Some time ago I noticed that almost 5-10 contacts in my addressbook had a second address field with only the city compiled in; I can't delete or modify this second address: this is the reason because I think it is a "malformed entry" or a database error. I think this is the reason because even mycontacts had many crashes when I first tryed it.
