AFAIR the android/nitdroid does not support ad-hoc networks, which is the kind of networking, when sharing PCs connection. Try connecting Your gadget directly to a WLAN router (infrastructure).

Installed Gingerbread real easy following your instructions, but have a couple of small issues, the virtual keyboard is tiny and unusable even with the stylus. And I have installed setcpu to overclock but it asks for superuser permissions and I'm going nuts trying to find out how to set it up

IMO, 0.0.9 is much faster and smoother than gingerbread...I tried Gingerbread but it not much smoother than 0.0.9. If you doubt, try it out
I have a query here...installing Nitdroid in eMMC much faster than installing it in external memory card? Anyone tried this?

I didn't get this!! Sorry about that. You mean gingerbread is now faster than Nitdroid and also installing on eMMC is much faster than installing on a external memory card?

:/ when did i said that..

NITDroid : Android ( gingerbread and Froyo )
Froyo = 0.0.9 > GingerBread
even in taste.
Installing on eMMC is faster than installing on SD card be it Froyo or Ginger bread
