So i un-installed seqretary and re-installed it and the minimized (invisible) applet is still not visible.

Could someone please tell me where the files for seqretary are stored (I couldn't find them) so I can wipe them all out and see if that helps (would it).

Getting annoyed with the applet not getting reset at an un- and re-install.

Looks so promising. I go in and edit it (I noticed the height was at 1).
I increase the height - nothing shows on the desktop.
I change around the X and Y coords - nothing shows.

Do you have it showing on your desktop and could give me the parameters it has?

I changed the values, saved, de-selected the applet, re-selected it, etc. Nothing makes it show.

EDIT:
I also notice that when I de-select the applet and re-select it - the values in that file resets back to having a height of 1. So I'm thinking that it doesn't read that file whilst the applet is active but rather those values are pulled from somewhere else. I wonder where 'somewhere else' is though.

Am I seriously going to have to re-flash the whole device due to this?

here is a option thatt worked for me. Have the applet loaded, edit file to chaange the size, save changes, kill hildon-desktop process or reboot device to make it re-read the file.

i was wondering if one of those dat-files held the stuff. but nuking one of them seemed heavy handed (tho in hindsight a simple rename may have worked for experimentation).

Trollo,
Sorry for the very very slow response.
I have been barely using the device of late, so had forgotten about the problem.
I will try and get to it if you are still interested?
