Wonder if anyone can help - I installed FastSMSEvo after installing the CSSU (purely for the portrait T9 alpha-num input method, rather than that poxy QWERTY Maemo has built in), but I can't get it launch after a reboot - I have seen people complaining of it being slow to load (mainly due to loading all the dicitonaries) but for me, it simply refuses to.
Previously it was loading but only after dicking about with various apps first - loaded FastSMS so that I know the keyboard was loaded, then tried it in Conversations, both "To" field and main text body field, no result, Email body text field, no result, Email "To" field, result - processor going like the clappers for 3 seconds then the keyboard appeared. After that it loaded instantly with any other app that called for it.
Now, since upgrading to CSSU 12.5 it simply won't load. Are there any known conflicts that could have this effect? Is there a shell script I can run to get it to load OS wide at boot?

Nope, no joy with purge either.
Have found that if I launch FastSMS and then launch Conversations it then works consistently.

For me the only bug is still the bit where if I restart hildon-desktop, while still in the terminal, fastsms pops up that attempted-keyboard (it's a fastsms process caused popup, but the keyboard itself doesn't load) that gets in the way. Can't click out of it. Typing "killall fastsms" gets rid of the box.
So... whenever you're free of your exams realsportscars, what do the latest versions of fastsms do that might be linked to the launching/starting of hildon-desktop?
