Yeah, Laughting man is right...
I don't why you can't do that =)
Just go to settings -> Media library -> Audio Folders -> your memory card -> select only the folders you WANT canola to "index" the music.
The others will not show in canola. It's a little bit more of work then just selecting the
card, but it works for your case.
=)

Both get stuck at the "Acquiring name" part, which is further than it got last time.
