I respectfully disagree, the light sensor allowed me to get rid of the brightness adjustment in my status bar because I never need to use it anymore. The sensor placement isn't optimal as I do sometimes cover it inadvertently but I really do appreciate the sensor.

O.T. question: So I read the wikipedia page on resistive / capacative touch screens. I'm wondering what my thinkpad X61 tablet is? The touchscreen is called MultiView/MultiTouch, but only works with the special stylus, not with finger/other object touch. Just curious...

I had to google for eMMC, and then I had to discard some of the first hits. I finally got some good info.
So the "internal slot" is going to be not a "slot" at all? This sounds like the RX-51 will have the same configuration as the N810... So that very likely means no full size SD card slot either, only a mini or a micro.

As I see it, regular vs. mini is a totally separate issue; it's quite possible that the backlash has been noisy enough to encourage a single full-SD slot. But if I had to put money down, I'd go with microSD. Nobody uses miniSD, so I'd hope they get rid of it, and micro is preferable if they're trying to keep the size down. This time, they're adding substantial hardware (HD camera), so even without another whole tablet shrink (like the N800->N810), they could need that space. (Personally, I'd rather they go back to N800 size, put the d-pad on the face, and at least one full-SD. And maybe a second d-pad (or analog nub) on the right side...)
