That is cool and my company is flexible they allow even minnows like E71 to use their server but not N900.

Oh I agree... like I said before.. I'm on your side. It's just some of the arguments that we have on our side are more feasible than others.

At the moment.. the step 4 or 5 argument doesn't really have a factual basis that anyone has linked to yet. I'm not saying some random person plucked it out of the air and the forum caught onto it and it spread like wildfire..

I'm just saying nobody has yet to provide me with a link to any official nokia documentation or plan or anything that outlines this "4 of 5" mentality is all.

I fully believe that anyone that spends $600 on a device that didn't do any research deserves what they got. It's one thing to get something nobody knows about, quite another to buy something with a known problem because you couldn't google. I saw an argument that "business people" don't have time to look around these forums and find out.. I dunno about that - but I'm sorry.. every time I've bought an expensive phone I researched it first.

The G1, the Cliq for my wife, my N810 back when I got it.. I knew exactly what those were capable of before I got them so I knew I wasn't wasting my money. To me that's just logical and good money management.

YEs and whilst they are similar to most Customer Services if you had bothered to read the terms of sale and returned the device within the stated term then you wouldn't have an issue.
