When will N900 get a full featured Ovi Maps like other Nokia phones?

Voice guided navigation and the online premium content such as traffic and speed cameras is unfortunately not available on the Nokia N900. Moving forward, however, all future Nokia smartphone handsets will have fully featured Ovi Maps.
So that would mean that all smartphones before and after the n900 would have it? I think this person didn't mean to word it to sound the way it came out. It will get ported to Qt if it hasn't already, so we'll get it on the n900 whether we're running Maemo or Meego. If they did it any other way I'd be surprised.

Just a curiosity, are we sure that meego will have free navigation?

IIRC Nokia (and not with Intel) owns Navteq, is there some agreement about that I'm aware?

I'm pretty sure Harmattan/MeeGo will have it. Nokia is not giving it's $8.1 billion that it payed for Navteq to MeeGo as whole.

Yes. I am 99,3% sure that MeeGo devices from Nokia have free navigation. MeeGo devices from other manufacturers probably can't offer free navigation because they have to buy data needed for navigation either from Nokia/Navteq or other map data generating companies (Tele Atlas/TomTom or Google).
