I have followed this example to enable dynamic form processing for the app, so unlimited ui files can be used and swapped without compiling. It works, but the binary is over 1mb since it has to precompile the form at every startup, and I don't think getting portrait support for 1mb space is so needed. It even needs to restart app to switch form, so just doing another QRadio version only with portrait is a lot better in my opinion. Autorotation is out of scope, there is no equivalent of a ProxyLayout with Designer and QRadio ui needs a lot of changes to switch orientation.

What this app really need now is getting tested and voted.

Major:
No error message when starting without headphones or when trying to start radio from menu. Not obvious to all people who install stuff from extras! Remember that we are dealing with completely different people when going to extras!

Glitches (Warning! Short list "effective hopefully not rude" and of course these are just opinions )

Seek doesn´t work properly for me. It finds channels but skips many channels that are just fine.

I would like to scroll trough frequencies with volume bar like solution. Or maybe just swiping up&down /right&left of number display to scroll trough frequencies. (oh dear rejected...)

In settings "use camera button" FOR what? (change station from camera button)?

Hmmmm why there is static frequencies below display and additionally there is station list. Confusing.

Could enable speakers button be besides volume bar (changed from speaker icon to headphone icon depending on state)

How about manual frequency popup when tapping frequency display?

Is there template for about/help page in packages repository?

Layout position changes when there is RDS text displayed.

Activating set should IMO be right behind first tap to top bar and changing the names of set behind settings as it is right now.(So that active set is highlighted like this link)

I like the possibility to change font size and the most user friendly way would be in way that you could see dynamic preview of font size right besides the +/- setting.

.edit
I think that these were dialogs that you are able to attach&customize to your app if you want.

In Addition to Slender's comment, I think the volume control bar should be located vertically to the right (or left, doesn't matter) end of the screen while the tuning bar should be horizontally, where the volume bar is currently.

Code:
/opt/qradio/qradio
at [classify system] (should be line 270 around). In this way radio audio won't stop if you get an email notification. Incoming call will still stop it if you have latest versions.
I did this and rebooted but when receiving a sms qradio still stops and I can hear the audio from the microphone;(
I have to manually stop and the start the radio from qradios menu.

Do I have to do another change so that receiving a sms doesn't disturbs qradio?

btw: automatically stop and start radio when receiving a phone call now works like a charm! Thanks for that!

I will when warning text is added for headphones. It crashed couple of times but I will report only when I find how to reproduce it. Basically I was just in the middle of "ADHD" testing where I tried to really break program doing all the "wrong" things, take headphone off put it back take it out and same time go to settings etc.. Additionally I have CSSU installed so that might be one reason.

@slender What happens when you receive an email while you are listening to radio? Does the radio play uninterrupted? I love this app, but it gets a bit annoying to do a stop/start while doing sometinhg else and the phone is in the pocket
