Do you know you can arrange running apps by dragging it, like in launcher?

How can I silence my phone now. Some Guys here talk about a powermenu. But when I press the Powerbutton for a longer time, my phone shuts down. There is no menu.

A way to teleport yourself into the middle of the action, lightning fast, is to double click the power on button.

Sure somebody has mentioned it before.

If you do this when you have no applications running, you are presented with the 4 favorites (after a somewhat dragging animation).

Imagine this would also happen when you do actually have applications open (99% scenario).
Hold phone in landcape, unlock with left hand finger on power button, right finger opens camera from pop up 4 favorites menu. Shoot!

Swipe down from top border of screen and choose your "silent" ambiance.

That would be nice indeed. Other small things that are not critical but would make for a much better experience:
  • Move the pulley menus from lock screen to home screen.
  • A way to wake up straight to home screen (other than double click on the power button that is: that one is a nice workaround but I would prefer not to overuse the power button). A double screen tap would do nicely. It could be configurable to satisfy users like nodevel
  • A swipe from the top in the ambience selection menu to lock the phone rather than return back to home screen. Currently you need to tap on the lock icon, which is error prone and may result in changing your ambience by mistake. If implemented, then locking when inside an app would be as simple as a tripple swipe. Not as elegant as before with just a double swipe but better than swipe, swipe, tap.
  • Ditch the cross that appears after a long tap on notifications and bring back the context menu like before.

That's it

Yes but only if you:

1) press home screen prolonged until X apears for closing apps selectively or all of them by pull down

2) release screen

3) press on app prolonged until it jumps in focus

4) hold / drag and release app on desired spot, this has to be other open app, which it will switch places with.

5) press home screen one more time to get out of "app close / move modus"

Yawn ...

They also need to fix it not dumping you into app grid, but returning to you to home screen when you open one of your 4 favourite folders but then decide to go back by pressing in empty space again. Behaviour is correct on 1.1.7 and prior. Also, why they felt the need to have the black of the app grid (which is still unthemed???) intrude into the home screen for the 4 favourites, when currently the 4 folders / apps sit perfectly happily on top of the theme.

I really like all the new transitions etc. The pulley select one needs to be significantly faster though (but not removed entirely).

Unlock - time needs to appear at the same time as the fade, not after it. I like the animation, again, but it needs to be tightened.

Events swipe-from-left is a bit of a finger-stretch - if there's an option to make L and R swipes do different things, ideally there'd be a toggle for swapping them (inc. for left-handed users)

I like that you can now launch loads of apps at once from the launcher without loaded apps stealing focus.

Can't remove sailfish-tutorial "politely" as it wants to remove a load of other (essential) packages with it!

Glad that feeds and especially toggles in Events will be in the next version - @coderus you must be pleased and relieved at the same time!
I also love a lot the new animations, need to be quickened a bit, particularly the unlock one.

PS: beer?

Did it not do that before? I can't remember. If so, then it was Wrong™.
Returning one step back is more intuitive than back to the start.

I think the lock icon is big enough, however I would appreciate not to have to swipe then tap to lock (two gestures).

I notice swipe from top to bottom brings up gradually 1) lock 2) ambiances gradually.

Why not top to bottom swipe + hold then release the screen on the appearing lock or ambiance to activate the option of choice?

Move swipe motion a little bit back up does cancel / nothing.
