How can I silence my phone now. Some Guys here talk about a powermenu. But when I press the Powerbutton for a longer time, my phone shuts down. There is no menu.

is it just me or does the unlocking the phone take forever because the crappy side arrows take forever to load.
Sure somebody has mentioned it before.
If you do this when you have no applications running, you are presented with the 4 favorites (after a somewhat dragging animation).
Imagine this would also happen when you do actually have applications open (99% scenario).
Hold phone in landcape, unlock with left hand finger on power button, right finger opens camera from pop up 4 favorites menu. Shoot!

Behaviour is correct on 1.1.7 and prior. Also, why they felt the need to have the black of the app grid (which is still unthemed???) intrude into the home screen for the 4 favourites, when currently the 4 folders / apps sit perfectly happily on top of the theme.

A few observations:
The public version seems to have "swipe down to close" in the gestures options? Without any patches. Falling-away animation is fun!
I really like all the new transitions etc. The pulley select one needs to be significantly faster though (but not removed entirely).
Unlock - time needs to appear at the same time as the fade, not after it. I like the animation, again, but it needs to be tightened.
Events swipe-from-left is a bit of a finger-stretch - if there's an option to make L and R swipes do different things, ideally there'd be a toggle for swapping them (inc. for left-handed users)
I like that you can now launch loads of apps at once from the launcher without loaded apps stealing focus.
Can't remove sailfish-tutorial "politely" as it wants to remove a load of other (essential) packages with it!
Glad that feeds and especially toggles in Events will be in the next version - @coderus you must be pleased and relieved at the same time!

Returning one step back is more intuitive than back to the start.

I notice swipe from top to bottom brings up gradually 1) lock 2) ambiances gradually.
Why not top to bottom swipe + hold then release the screen on the appearing lock or ambiance to activate the option of choice?
Move swipe motion a little bit back up does cancel / nothing.
