Hi all.
I've a question\sugestion, to improve that 125-XXX'X' Kernels.
So, what about we can have a, for exemple, (125)250-900 Mhz ?

The 125 Mhz only will be used when the screen is off, phone iddle, screen locket! When it gets up..it goes to 250 Mhz!

Is this possible?
This will make that 125-XXX'x' kernels a bit of perfection!

Regards

In my hands it shows with Lehto's kernel at 800 and 1000 MHz (1000-800-250-ulv) and 1100 MHz (1100-800-250-ulv) but not 900/500/125 MHz (non-ulv), and with Titan's kernel (ulv) at 800 and 850 MHz but not at 810 MHz.

So my guess is that the kernel likes MHz values divisible by 3 (i.e. 810 and 900) and warns for speeds which aren't a mutiple of 3.

The 810 result you got it with the default -maemo20 kernel or with the LV or ULV version? please specify always with which kernel (standard, lv, ulv) you get the results.

Am I the only one here not able to boot using Lehto's ULV kernel's? Cannot boot using either one. All other standard kernels are working, just not the ULV's.

Any tips to get these going?

it may or may not help.

Just ignore the warning. I occurs whenever the kernel changes to 800Mhz, both with Letho's and my older kernels. My latest kernels (not the one in extras*) use 810 instead of 800 and the warning does not longer show up.

The reset of 125->250 by the phone is still an issue and I'll try another workaround soon.
for now, you manually have to set it back for 124999 after every phone call.

sorry for this out of nowhere one but what DSP does ulv kernel-maemo20 of yours using, titan? 810 is so far stable for me and 850 lil like a heater for my device, however I came across this issue while in 810 but not sure whose fault it was enna was opened and I was browsing TMO at the same time and there was no way text fields/areas in the browser grabbing focus unless I closed enna. I guess its enna.

I've had my first crash with your ULV kernel at 810MHz. I had run both your and Letho's earlier kernels at 900MHz without stability problems but apparently my unit didn't like the lower voltage at 810MHz.

Anyway, I switched back to 750MHz through pmconfig and it seems to be working problem-free for now...

the command is

flasher-3.5 -k zImage-900mhz -f -R

NOT

flasher-3.5.exe -k zImage-900mhz -f -R
