This may sound like a stupid question, but are the phones being dispatched from the Nokia Retail Stores or the Southampton webshopI live in Wigan, Lancashire and am still 'pending stock'. I wonder if my phone will be coming from the Manchester Retail Store??

mate was in M/c store today. they are dispatching from there as well
I'm in east lancs, hope mines here tomorrow
apparantly they have sent out 70 from M/c over last couple of days

I'm hoping this means tomorrow, I've got moday off, but dont want to wait all weekend!
Anyone know anything about saturday delivery from MPD?
As far as I can tell from here http://www.nokiaretail.co.uk/custome...s/delivery.htm, this will mean Monday
I know RM special delivery do saturdays:
But I don't like the part that says "small surcharge"

Ordered through mpd on £20 24 month tariff £252 for handset(still pending), now thinking i should have went for pay as you go and the sim only tarfif £20(12 months) with £100 cashback from topcashback. Any thoughs would be helpful

1.If i buy n900 on pay as you go, is it locked with the provider? Can i use my own personal sim? Or should i buy sim free?
2. Will the n900 purchased in UK, work in India? Any GSM/frequency conflicts? I assume that i cannot take it to a nokia dealer in india if its bricked, right?
