@Schturman, if I may have a small suggestion - when you add some small features in between larger releases (like adding "catch app" icon, or now new properties to tweak B to v8.6), could you introduce some kind of additional numbering system? Like having versions v8.5, v8.6 and then when you add some small stuff v8.6.1 and v8.6.2 - I try to keep up to date but sometimes it's easy to miss that some feature was added to v8.6 and that I should re-install it with new .deb.

don.edri,

a detailed changelog on the wiki would be better IMO as otherwise you are going to get Schturman having to work harder for multiple releases support with some here going:
"oh i've 8.6.3 and this thing isn't working but 8.6.4 is no big change so why should I update"
while some may inform that v8.6.4 doesnt have the issue but originally it was the user's fault when having the issue in v8.6.3 leaving Schturman confused on what exactly changed in v8.6.4

Thought through and agreed - this would be more useful - just when a new change is added, please mark it with a date in the changelog

You always have changelog with date and version on the first post when new version released

Yes, yes of course - I should clarify on this. When you add a small feature to current release, it would be beneficiary to, when updating a changelog for current release, add a date to that line, so that one can track when it was added (and easier to notice if something new appeared). Sth like this (third line is the suggestion):

Changelog for Version 15.7 (06.12.14)
* Tweak XXA to ramp up screen resolution to ultra holographic HD++ added
* Tweak YXC updated with codes to access Curiosity rover controls
* NEW 10.12.14 updated tweak ZWF - new option to remote-control Elop into reversing Nokia course for Meego development

I hope this clears up my idea

Luckily, Elop will be fired by then, and we'll all have Jolla phones! :-)

I find the documentation to be excellent. But, to respond to the idea of more documentation, if we're given the option between either (1) getting the new version out sooner or (2) paying more attention to documentation, I'd rather have the new version come out earlier!

i have installed vesuri's .deb twice ,where in both times I decided to go back to original 'libmeegotouchcore0', it reinstalled successfuly however after installation ,the usuall 'swipe to answer' has gone when there is an incoming call , the green area disappeared, and there's no contact name or number anymore.Instead one have to swipe the whole wallpaper/lockscreen from the very bottom of the screen to answer without it moving up and down as it should be.I hope that I made that clear
