The kernels.. something like "2.6.28-omap1", the lv-kernel if you got it and a map named current.

Could you do this again?

1. root

2. wget http://maemory.com/N900/overclock/lv...mo20_armel.deb

3. wget http://maemory.com/N900/overclock/lv...mo20_armel.deb

4. wget http://maemory.com/N900/overclock/lv...mo20_armel.deb

5. ls (and tell me what you get for output)

6. dpkg -i kernel-m*

7. dpkg -i kernel-f*

8. halt

Ronaldo: been there also, try creating the directories and then running the commands
the installer is trying to remove modules from direcotries that aren't there (different kernel was installed)

type: mkdir /lib/modules/2.6.28.10maemo-omap1/
echo "123" >> '/lib/modules/2.6.28.10maemo-omap1/modules.1

and then run dpkg

all i want is the phone's flaher back, i dont even wanna install that kernel no more.

i wanna be able to

root
apt-get install --reinstall mp-fremantle-generic-pr

and then the

root
apt-get install --reinstall kernel kernel-flasher

but i cannot

You could always try the "hard" way and download the kernel on the computer and flash it through the usb-cable and "u" thingy.

i find it easier but, i want to be able to restore the phone without full fash which i cannot and its bugging me.

also noticed i lost 5mb in rootfs (i deleted the 3 files in home/)
