My Holux M1000 BT GPS unit does not think I'm ever adrift in the English Channel. That's just weird!
I have a design for converting the N810 to an astrolabe using a protractor, chewing gum, piece of string and a handful of used McDonalds shake straws. The N810's clock really comes in handy, much faster location fixes than using the "GPS"

The Alpine Meadows on Blackwall Peak at Manning Park, a few hours drive from Vancouver, are still closed due to snow.
