Nokia has been quoted as saying "November", so I would expect the different later dates some are seeing are pushback dates based on not wanting their systems to keep reporting the product as backordered and past due- This reduces the amount of system data churn the product goes through within their logistics system.

Du har förhandsbokat en Nokia N900 hos oss på Katshing. Tyvärr har vi nu fått reda på att N900 inte kommer att komma till den svenska marknaden under 2009. Gissningsvis kommer den i slutet av januari 2010, men det är inget som är bekräftat. Den mobil som ligger allra närmast, och som nu finns i lager, är Nokia N97.

Skillnaden mellan dessa bägge mobiler är:
N900 är Linuxbaserad vilken N97 inte är. N900 har även en aningen större skärm än N97. Däremot är N97 lättare och lite tunnare i formatet. Läs mer om N97

They got that from Nokia that N900 dont coming 2009, and it will come late Januari 2010, and that not promissed from Nokia.

toivosan publicized the mail from katshing and the information from nokia came from a person, at swedish forum, who called nokia.

Nokia is targeting a fix for the end of December. Maybe N900 is delayed in Sweden due this?

Hopefully it's just a firmware update, or will they have to update the baseband? If so that could push back availability considerably. Yikes

Actually looking at these Other significant bugs I don't see how they can release it.
