That's strange... the icons must be there.
Try with killall otherwise, please try to re-install quick-launch.

strange indeed.. tried uninstall, boot, reinstall.. no help then tried the killall, change iconset, killall.. no help..

noticed that settings didn't change between uninstall and reinstall.. is there a configuration file that doesn't remove when uninstalled?

I installed, icons were blank, I set the icons, restarted hildon-status-menu and all is normal.

got it! thank you!

the problem was in my head i didn't understand the setting icons, that they should be set in quicklaunch and not in themecustomizer.

thanks again for your help and for a great app!

Powerkey feature does not work anymore since latest release. I tried to deactivate powerkey option and reactivate and reboot, but nothing seems to get quicklaunch in the powerkeymenu.

Uhm I'm just wondering if this could be a configuration problem.
Could you please try to follow these steps :
1) apt-get remove quick-launch
2) dpkg --purge quick-launch
3) apt-get install quick-launch

Let me know what happens.

I installed, slots were empty in status bar, but after I went to quick launch in Settings, selected each program, and then Clear Slot, then reselected each program, everything worked fine.

I uninstalled Quick-Launch, did a reboot, and reinstalled it. Still no powerkey feature, but then i did another reboot and quick-launch finally appeared in the powerkey menu.
