Normally PSX processor runs x instructions per second. The hardware processor is faster, so after finishing emulating one instructions it needs to wait some time before it starts processing next instruction. You may shorten this waiting time, and have emulated processor running y times faster. This is the multiplier.

But, there is a BIG but... The emulator has many more things to emulate, like I/O and GPU and it usually takes place in the described "waiting" time. N900 does not have enough power to emulate it all with the current codebase, so you may compensate the lag using multiplier only to some extent.

This emulator is awesome! I love how diablo works!

SIlent hill plays fine (cycle 4 skip 3/4) although there is a like a grey square round the main character (Not sure if this is supposed to be there or not)

Syndicate wars plays okay too, slows down a bit when there's a lot of action..

It's looking like there should be lots of games to play once the GPU plugin is implemented ..

wipeoutXL (wipeout 2?) is very slow compared to wipeout 3 any ideas why that should be?

GTA 2 runs amazingly fast, but cars and characters are not drawn

MDK runs but is glitchy. First part is slow but then okay once you start on the ground. Not tested different multipliers

Ridge racer works but at 60% speed

Tony Hawk 2 works but is slow 60% or so...

Tiger woods 50% speed

Metal Gear solid runs fine, 70% speed.

All at 1.15ghz

R type delta runs with graphic corruption around alpha objects at multiplier 8, enemies are not drawn at 4x multiplier

streetfighter alpha is very slow but runs

Civ 2 runs fine

Cool boarders 4: runs fine but very slow 30% at multiplier 8

Driver 2 runs but slowly

Medal of honour underground runs but slowly

Gran Tourismo 2: cycle 2, Works but at about 30% speed, colours of cars are all messed up too.

Okay, I forgot I restarted my n900 so the above post was at 600mhz...

Wipeout XL now zooming along at cycle 10, slightly slower than it should be (Jusdging from timers) probably about 90%

R Type Delta works but various graphical glitches depending on ehat cycle multiplier you use...

Mmmm Wipeout 3 crash after i have surpassed the blue line. I had this problem even with epsxe on pc and i solved it turning on "read subchannel" option in the sound menù. Is there a way to solve with psx4all?

My version of wipeout 3 is Special Edition...

Vib Ribbon works for a start, then hangs if you select either play or how to play. (Not tried with cycle 1)

Diablo crash at third doungeon, the screen starts to flash and become blue. I try with another bios.

Using Sixaxis all games are slow down, someone noticed that?

I'm getting an identical issue with 2 different Wipeout 3 ISO's.. manage to find any solution to this? I assume it has to do with the sound.. but my disable sound button doesn't actually do anything (assuming the same for all).
