Congrats for this great browser. finally we n900 owners have a browser that is fast, smooth and totally responsave.

Other then not supporting flash this is (imo) by far better then the default browser. I will from now on be using the default one only for youtube and some other flash sites.

I HIGHLY reccomand this browser.

thanks again.

I agree, it's a GREAT looking browser but with microB being so much more stable (and for me faster), supporting Flash and repo installs - and the battery drain I'm seeing when using Opera - I can't justify 'spending' 15Meg on Opera.

Un-installed but will keep track of updates and am still really happy and thankful for the work these guys did as it might end up being an amazing browser.

what i'm missing is the circle-zoom.

other than that, its really awesome. scrolling is flawless, i wish microb would be so smooth.

but for now, microb is the better browser, just because flash.

Thanks. Thank you very much! GRACIAS!
Did I give you my THANKS for this awesome FIRST VERSION of Opera for n900?
I'm reading "MicroB is more stable than yours..." eehhhmmm... your first release... don't be very hard with them boys, you know, fanboys rules.
And keep working-improving this AMAZING product!
How much I missed Opera's turbo mode (microB is not very nice when my operator punish me cutting down speed after 300mb/month of fast data).

That has to be the best feedback rating ever. 2 posts 219 thanks. Just goes to show how unexspected and great this announcement is.
I doubt that even if a Nokia guy came on here and said "guys sorry for the wait heres PR1.2" if he'd get the same thanks.

Opera guys, thanks a lot for this. One thing though (other than Flash support, that is) is there any chance of you adding custom zoom levels via the volume keys? Firefox does this, its a mix between what you have and how MicroB does it. While the tap to zoom system is great, I wish I had more control over zoom levels (without going into settings).

Thanks for the high polished, fast browser with a great UI.

I would like to thank everyone in the Opera team who have worked for this release.

Since buying this phone I have stopped using opera gradually in all platforms as I was so used to use it on my old n95.

I also mis the rss feeds from my old opera 4.x... not sure if that top feature was ever released on opera 5.x as i stopped using it on the beta 5 release...

keep up the good work, cant wait for final release with plug-ins.

with Opera on the N900, it may suade other companies to take a second look at Maemo for their apps. congrats.

note: opera turbo seemed slower than regular for me! ah well. still an awesome browser that supports portrait!!
