Okay, seems that purging kernel-maemo worked fine.
Do
Code:
dpkg -P --force-all kernel-modules-maemo
And then try to reinstall stock kernel

ome/user # dpkg -P --force-all kernel-modules-maemo
dpkg - warning, overriding problem because --force enabled:
Package is in a very bad inconsistent state - you should
reinstall it before attempting a removal.
(Reading database ... 27066 files and directories currently installed.)
Removing kernel-modules-maemo ...
rm: cannot remove '/lib/modules/2.6.28.10maemo-lv-omap1/modules.*': No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing kernel-modules-maemo (--purge):
subprocess post-removal script returned error exit status 1

kernel-modules-maemo
/home/user #

get this :/

1. Launch xterminal
2. sudo gainroot (assuming you have rootsh installed)
3. apt-get install --reinstall mp-fremantle-generic-pr (this name can be different. instead of generic, it may be 002 or 003 etc). To find which one, use apt-cache search mp-fremantle-*
4. reboot

Hmm, a stupid thing which might work though would be to create
/lib/modules/2.6.28.10maemo-lv-omap1/modules.dep file and then re run dpkg purge and see what message does it give.

If that still throws errors, try reinstalling kernel-modules-maemo from Titan but use dpkg -i --force-all option (I am assuming that you do have kernel-flasher-maemo installed)

For the ones with spelling problems - it's Lehto, not Letho. Thanks.

-1: no problems with video on my device. Indeed, no problem whatever

Configuration:
Latest ULV kernel from Titan, clocked 124999 to 809000; Blackdiamond's ignore nice load

I installed the earlier kernel from Titan, from devel-testing. If I installed the ulv kernel, should I uninstall the other one, or would it not make any difference because one kernel would just be replacing the other?
