Hello guys,
Cannot install latest update, because of missing libspeex1 (>= 1.2-beta3-1). Haven't been here for a while. What repos are needed for latest thumb? Thx.

I am aware of the problem, waiting merlin1991 to put the package in the CSSU repo.

In the meanwhile, you can install the .deb from http://repository.maemo.org/pool/fre...-free/s/speex/ by hand.

Hi,

I've just seen a notification in HAM to update "Community SSU enabler" from 0.7-4+thumb1 to 0.7-5 .

Is there any reason I'd like to do this?
Would this provide any significant update?
Will this substitute relevant parts of my current Thumb enabled system?
Any risk of breaking anything?

Thanks,
Rafa.

Disables dead nokia repos to keep apt-get happy.

Tnx, Android_808.

If it just disables dead repos, I already did it by hand...

Does it enable any other repo that could substitute my thumb packages with non-thumb updated versions?

I was concerned by the release number or name: 0.7-5 vs my current 0.7-4+thumb1 .

Regards,
Rafa.

Doesn't add any: https://github.com/community-ssu/com...964174df8e3ad0

With regards to thumb version, compared to 0.7-4+thumb1 it appears to be missing the following commits, one to check apt-get in a different place and one to make sure we have a thumb enabled kernel.

Hello all!
I install tha latest cssu-thumb and the kernel-cssu package.
My wuestion is now:

Can i remove kernel-power, kernel-power-modules, kernel-power-flasher-etc or not?

If i try to do so i get the apt-messgage that some packages like wifi-pwner batterypatch-testing etc. would also be removed, as they depends on kernel-power.

So is the kernel-cssu the better (and newer) replacement for kernel-power or should i better switch back to kernel-power?

Thanks...
