slightly improved kernels (maemo21) are now available.
From now on all information is on http://wiki.maemo.org/Overclocking#I...hanced_kernels

I'm going to upload the normal voltage kernel to extras-devel tomorrow.

There are many commands that don't start with ":"

For example : n for next
"/" to search
"G" to go to line etc etc.

I increased the voltages for >=1000 to overvoltage so that it's stable,
added powersave and conservative governors and added PPTP support.

E: Package mp-fremantle-generic-pr ahs no installation candidate
If your device is from the US, thus having a US firmware, then you must install "mp-fremantle-002-pr" instead. I think there's also 003 (Middle East/North Africa) and 203 (UK).

But it seems that now after the remove they are really gone.

Cheers for that. Would be interesting with the new governor. For me battery life is more important that slightly sluggishness till the governor finds the right frequency rather than jumping to the max straight away. So what is the new governor policy?
Also, do you know if power bias does anything with the new governor?

Hmm, how about doing apt-get update? Does that get it back?

i guess you mean apt-get update?
no that doesnt bring it back.
but i finally got it working!
What i did was disable all repositories....
Then do an apt-get update so to be sure that all cache was gone
Then enable all the repositories again and again an apt-get update
and now the apt-get install mp-fremantle-generice-pr works!

So somehow it just doesnt always update when you tell it to..
