why become an unpaid shill? It's not like they are going to make more Meego phones if it sells, they've already said this.

As for support, I do worry and I don't mean it as any form of disrespect for the countless number of people in this community who make great apps. It's just that I treat and expect from my N900 the same way I treat and expect from my Linux desktop: I know it will do things that no other OS/device will allow but I don't expect the hot new software annonced by company X to be on it, instead I sit there hoping that some kind soul with spare time will make an alternative.

Ready for new clue in 1 hour?
I bet it will be the footballers shirt or something from Maps-video/biker/posters.

Not really following the game to be honest. It just seemed like the answers so far are too random with little actual puzzle solving more squinting and hoping.
The Autokey message had me wondering though if this will spawn to a real ARG.
The message was something like

Look deep into The Source
There is more underneath the pretty covers.

This made me think that they were referring to the magazine The Source. Maybe Nokia put out an ad in that magazine with the next clue or answer.

Yeah, I remember from some of the Nokia Games, you had to listen to the radio, read the paper etc.

At least one of the codes should have something to do with The Source/Da Vinci...

Well there’s still quite a bit of conjecture over that...

The only source where Elop's specifically said there'll be no more MeeGo phones.
Was in an interview with a Euro rag, country escapes me at this very moment.
Some native speakers subsequently debunked what the "supposed" English interpretation was.

But massive mainstream (US) blogs like Engadget still ran with it, & kept pushing it in subsequent stories.
So I'm not surprised that this is now the pervading opinion/thought.

Elop/Nokia's been very vague along-the-way...
There's never been any official statement via Nokia press release, that MeeGo won't play a role in future Nokia phones.

They have however been clear that WP will be "front & centre" for at least the next 4x quarters.
It's already apparent that most of the marketing is gearing up towards WP phones, so that trend's already started.

Nokia' already said they will support it for "years", which is in stark contrast to the N900.
[they never promised the same thing for the N900]
WRT MeeGo apps there's still...

*Raft of in-house & externally developed apps that Nokia's releasing w/the N9
[exact no. not divulged by Nokia, & it's possible it's been scaled back since the change in strategy]
*Symbian apps (far easier ports now possible)
*N900 apps
*OSS userland apps (vanilla meego apps)

I think there's more than enough to go round...
The whole "look at my massive app repository" is frankly; a bit simplistic.
Even if they only had 1k (heck even a few dozen!) "commercial grade" apps to start-off with.
That's more than enough for 99.99% of users...

Especially when MeeGo's got more functionality built-in than I've seen on my Android or iOS phones.
Haven't yet tried WP heaps, but from what I've read (a lot) it's still at least one major release away before it reaches parity, or surpasses in some areas.
The only other contentious area is online services.
But there's no reason why a deal can't be struck with MS, until such time as they build-up their portfolio.
Nokia does have some good quality online services (navteq for one), but MS's is much broader.

This is a very different release in nature to the N900, greatly overshadowed by WP7 yes, but still very different to the N900.

Running android apps is far from definite yet.
There's rumours but it's not verified...
I reckon it's unlikely to happen for a range of boring reasons I CBF'd going into.
Personally I think it'd be a positive thing if it did.
Others in the community disagree, & make some okay-ish points why.

If it happened it'd be huge from a mind-share aspect.
People love giant app repositories far more than built-in functionality for some reason
I don't care personally...
