Not likely to happen, but how would that change the situtation?
Between the 2 of them they would be fairly untouchable by apple and it would allow Nokia to take advantage of the lawsuit and challenge some of the more ridiculous apple patents that should have never been granted.

Whatever value their patents otherwise have is intresting question, but Palm's market cap is still too big just to be bought just for the sake of this trial.
