Making myself more clear, the nokia_vndr/rx-51 ones are in xkb upstream as far as I know. You can submit them upstream so everyone using xkb can use them.

If I will take it upstream it might be updated only when XKB package is updated in Meego, unless I specifically request a backport by the Meego team.

I'm a noob at git... created a mess
Anyway the merged rx-51 is at https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=36739
I have tested it in Meego and it worked OK. Hebrew HW layout become available after `setxkbmap -layout he` and switch between English and Hebrew was done by the uncomfortable Ctrl+Shift

the system will boot into a handset ux, depending on whether your sim is pin locked, yopu may or may not be able to use very basic telephony functios and most of the other applications are either buggy or merely are acting as placeholders in the current menus.
