The reason why this button looks like a "stop" button is the
same reason for the two A's. I just don't have any talent
in icon design. And so I took what is already there.
One A for automatic whitebalance and on A for
automatic iso-level.
Can you package the UI and turn it into deb file? The UI that the community released
This way we all can download and change the UI.

Can you add touch to focus? If we can touch certain place on screen and the camera focus on that area would be nice. Or just touch the center and focus.

Here is one to replace the "Stop" in photo. It's a clone of Android camera Icon.

Just make it bigger when you press then it's good enough

When recording video with the front camera, if I change the exposure to anything above 0 (negative values work fine) I get a black screen, and I have to restart the camera ui to make it work again. Also I can't set the resolution to high for the front camera video, everything just freezes, and I have to restart the camera ui.

Edit: the black screen caused by change in exposure only happens if I change to ISO settings to anything other than automatic. And it also happens when shooting video with the back camera.

No, they aren't saved in the RAW file.
I put it on my todo list :-)

Thats why there is an option to disable this behavior.
Just open the menu (tap on the titlebar) and disable
"open on focus pressed" .

Nicolai,

Which format and filetype you want to have for icons?

A deb package is not enough. As long as the stock camera-ui is installed both
are conflicting with the cam-button. That's why I want this
as part of the CSSU. That way we can replace the
installed stock camera-ui.
