It can be for another reason, but you only lose some time trying.
Oh! And remember that if the device gets locked it will revert back to underclock, and unlocking will set the overclock profile.
Thanks, I will investigate what you said.

Is it possible overclock my device more than 700 mhz with the repos versions without having a reboot loop or other problems now?

It's possible to overclock to 805 MHz at maximum with SmartReflex activated, which comes by default in the profiles that this patch loads (note that I didn't type 850, but 805). However, 750 MHz seems to be a good maximum. You would have to edit "overclock" profile, or edit the "cpu-normal" dbus-script to point to another profile of your like.

EDIT: Nobody is having reboot-loops for this, just reboots (not my case).

How to uninstall karams kernel profile because I checked /home/user/.kernel/custom-karam and custom-karam is not there but for some reason even when I changed profile to ideal and set as default, it just reverts back to karams profile when I reboot. The profile is not working out for me, but the battery patch is good and so is the cgroups method i just don't want the kernel setting because phone is pretty buggy and slow with them. When it was on ideal with the cgroups method and battery patch it was so smooth. Please help.

try this
sudo gainroot
kernel-config load ideal
kernel-config default ideal

it should now have ideal as default.

If it is still unresolved with curduroysack advice (don't think so ):
Code:
rm /home/user/.kernel/custom-karam

It's okay as far as I know. You are using batterypatch-nonkp version from the repos, not the normal one, right? Because the normal one uses 2 profiles.

I dont think that will work. Using battery batch it will load Karams Overclock profile whenever the phone is unlocked, so even if Ideal is loaded and set as ideal, when the screen locks, overclock is loaded. You will need to edit /opt/dbus-scrips/CPU_Normal and change:

Kernel-config load overclock

to

Kernel-config load ideal
