Im having serious second thoughts about going with this device now.
The terrible management of the launch of this product does not bode well for the future management of it. This is supposed to be Nokia's flagship device, ie the one that saves Nokia's reputation and market share. If they are incapable of focusing on their most important product correctly, including focusing on the people waiting for official delivery info, then I cant help but think they are not gonna be capable of correctly promoting this product so that enough programmers/apps companies see it as a product worth developing for. Also how will their support be in the future? Will this sort of thread arise everytime they announce the possibly-might come soon-hopefully any day now-updates for the firmware?
Seriously, seriously losing faith in Nokia here.
By the way, I too am in the UK, where we were supposed to be getting this phone first. I am just glad I did not go ahead and cancel my contract with Orange just yet.

Update for those who pre-ordered from NOSUK
Just called Nokia Online Store (UK) and was told all pre-orders will be shipped out either today or Monday. Was kindly told to specifically watch the Inbox for the delivery email today.
Get in!

Are you some kind of Nokiabot? Are you really stupid enough to think that this thread is just mindless Nokia bashing? Oh, poor Nokia, they just want to be our friend and we're all just not playing nice.
GROW UP. Everyone complaining in this thread has a completely legitimate reason for doing so. They have been confused, let down, and basically lied to.
You were one of the people who claimed there had been no delay and Nokia had not gone back on its own info. So what do you have to say about the 16th of November arriving and there being NO info from Nokia at all, despite them claiming this as the launch date?
What about it being then pushed back to the 23rd? Then the 30th? Now the 3rd of December. How many setbacks will it take for YOU to accept that this is not reasonable?
If youre not a bot then youre definitely one of those guys who pays a small fortune to have women walk on you in high heels. Only a total masochist would be numb to this ****ing nonsense.
Either say something sensible or just shut the **** up.

Had the same when i called at 9.01am, beleive it when i see it though unfortunately
i used to be an optimist
My simple message is, let the customer know the answer, and make the answer the same across the board....
Fairy play if the answer is different in every country - but the answer should be the same and planned when possible....
Nokia, seem to have missed the boat (In more then one way) on this one....
But, in my case i will survive - It's a phone... only a phone'puter.... granted a good one - but as long as it comes out this year i'll keep my preorder - otherwise a new and better device will have most likely already superceded it...
