I'm silently following the thread, but one question makes me very curious:
K123 or anyone who can give a usefull answer: How far the UI can be customized? Is there a classic standby screen/desktop as in symbian or maemo or from the lockscreen you are taken to the launcher directly as in iOS for example?

no specific info sorry but as i said.. no as much custom as on N900.
FM transmiter question no answer. Device given back now :'(

Koajwujwer123, we dont need specific answers .. just answer these 2 for me..

1) Performance compared to iPhone 4 .
2) UX compared to iPhone 4.

I like your optimism... I am more on the tissot side a bit skeptical above all with the chosen SOC, because of Nokia's recent history on the hardware side.
Resolution does not matter too much to me, but It would be amazing to have a dual-core for it HKB or VKB as I am sure this would appeal to the masses having the possibility of being the next disruption thing lol I star to speak like you know who

That is a not unreasonable conclusion, but it is still possible they have a warehouse full somewhere and just didn't import enough for the Meego Conference.

According to my sources Nokia are going to take a steaming shite in a brown paper bag and somehow attach a keyboard to it, this is what i've been told..

Oh yeah, but if it doesn't happen it just means that i wasn't told about it..........

As smooth maybe even more. UX is different , i think it takes the simple part (app placement) and brings in advanced multitasking to it. Difficult to describe like this without telling too much. You need see it.
