I suddenly realized when looking at the Nook Color recently that 7 inches isn't enough. Furthermore, I want a regular keyboard. I came very close to buying a 10.1 inch Asus Convertible today, after looking at Dells and Levantos.

i guess SGT 10.1 will surely knock down ipad 2 with a sucker punch

Well, the iPad 2 is good in its own right, and has a terrific app selection and a wonderfully powerful graphics system.

But it looks as though the Tab 10.1" and the iPad 2 are quite different products. The Tab 10.1" looks closer to a customizable PC experience, where as the iPad 2 is closer to the iPhone experience.

Both look enticing, but while they are targeted to the same market, they are quite different products.

but i guess as far as the user experience is concerned ipad 2 rocks but whereas features are concerned SGT 10.1 rocks

I have an iPod touch that I'm bored of, but I have yet to try the iPad at length, so I can't comment on whether it's a stud or a dud (or somewhere in between). I'm probably not the type of client that would go wild over the iPad, but then again, I'm not the casual user!

You should check out the Galaxy Tab 8.9" that Samsung is going to be announcing in 4 days (Tuesday). It's going to be extremely thin, and have an interesting 8.9" form factor. This interests me more than the 10.1" at the moment, although that one looks great as well!

I'm also hoping that Samsung announces honeycomb for the Tab 7", though that may be wishful thinking...

my friend has the ipad thing ,,,, he is in the US and yeah he is much more happy with that thing ,,,

he he its either 10.1 or 8.9 SGT isnt the problem now

my problem now is when ll they launch in INDIA

am so curious to by either one depending upon the features
