Does anyone know if there's a way to scale youtube videos to full screen in mytube using the application mplayer settings. I thought adding the option -scale 800:480 to the mplayer string
mplayer -osdlevel 3 -correct-pts -- %s
would make it work, but it won't even start the player. I don't care if the youtube video is stretched, as long as it's full screen.
Any suggestions or is this something that won't work with youtube 4:3 video size

Damn, the mytube app isn't downloading from youtube to play video. Can someone check their mytube app to see if they can play a video from the youtube website. I'm trying to figure if I've screwed up something with fiddling about. Uninstalled and reinstalled; same problem

Thanks for the update. I'm afraid that I am *not* a fan of the newly implemented kinetic scrolling. I find it very hard on the eyes when trying to locate an item in the list of saved videos. Any possibility of giving us the option in a preferences menu to choose between old-school scroll bar and kinetic scrolling?

I generally like kinetic scrolling, but I also don't like the way kinetic scrolling has been implemented in MyTube ... ALL features are good features as long as they're optional.

I'd suggest that the list be made longer (say 30 entries per screen) with kinetic scrolling that has a definite top and bottom and doesn't wrap back around, and if scrollbars become optional and put back in, a much shorter (say 10 entries per screen) with scrollbars? It would be even better if these were variables that a user could choose in a preference menu. ALL features are good features as long as they're optional.
