i dont think its bad at all. That rubbery feel would need some time to get used to. im just disappointed at how i applied it because i rushed to get it on so i can use the device. i need to order another. *sigh* AGAIN, it doesnt affect the sensitivity!

one more thing. it seems as if the width of the screen protector is 1mm short. it just barely covers the screen. i dont know if its just the one i have right now or not. i will let you know once i get my other hightec in.
Hi
I went with the hightec. V happy with it. Mine was a good fit covered the whole screen..... so it might have been just that one u had.

I have also applied the Zagg Invisible Shield to the rest of the phone ....& am very happy with it to.

Am a 1st time user of both products above and would recommend them both.

All I need now is a good case.... the hunt goes on.

My Vikuiti DQC-160 is slightly too large for the N900. There is about 0,6mm too much on the sides. I tried to cut it on my own, but it didn't turn out to well I guess

Anyways, I contected protectionfilms24.com and told them about the problems. Not even 15 minutes later I recieved an answer saying the appologize for the inconvinience and they will send my another one free of charge. It is already on the way. Great customer service, I just hope the new one fits better.

Had the same problem with the screen protector (DQC-160) cut a little bit off and now it fits just fine. Ruined one in the process, but will mail them I also want a replacement for that (putting it on and off 10 times, gets dust and other specs on it, washed it, everything, unable to remove and ruined it).

Further then that, works very well. Good feel and good protection I think. Colors and viewability are excellent, you only see that a protector is on there in direct sunlight, screen remains well visible all the same.

So, very happy with it, although a little bit of cutting needed.

Short version: For folks in the US, Waterfield Designs (http://www.sfbags.com/) can make a "suede jacket" slip case / pouch for the N900. An example can be found at: http://www.sfbags.com/products/droid...ede-jacket.htm

Long version: I'm a big guy and want to carry my N900 in my front pocket just like I do for my N810. A simple sleeve or pouch would work best for me to prevent scratches to the screen, but not add extra bulk to the already chubby N900.

I'm a huge fan of Waterfield Design, a San Francisco company who makes all of their products in house. A photo I took that shows their quality workmanship can be found at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/speednutdave/3073066779/ (select "all sizes" to view high-res photo)

I've given them the Nokia spec page with the N900 dimensions (http://www.nokiausa.com/find-product...specifications) and they informed me that they can have the case ready for production in a week or so. If you want to order one now, just pick the droid version, then in the special instructions section, state that "custom size is needed for Nokia N900 -
4.37" height x 2.35" width x .77" depth".

The "suede jacket" is $9 + CA resident state taxes + $7 ground shipping (however, shipping from SF to San Jose is same day or next day, so at least it's fast for me )

I'll update this thread again once I've received the pouch/"suede jacket".

Wow perfect. I like the looks of that! I'm definitely going to order one right now. For that kind of money it's definitely worth it.

Will that do it with the 'pocket' too or just the jacket version? Do you know?
