and what about the Sygic.desktop file? when i install fresh it wont be pointing at launching from /MyDocs/ again would it?

Ok found it. And it does point to the myDocs directory but am getting same problem. It doesn't fire up.

Where are those 3 directories located at?
I just reinstalled all this stuff last night after a fresh 1.2 rebuild of everything. Mine works perfectly.

Here's what I did.
I backed everything up.
Flashed the OS Image and the eMMC. Installed all appz from scratch. In the sygic repository was the Mobile maps. I installed from there. Moved the 3 directories back to MyDocs and it ran first try. You might want to uninstall and reinstall.

[1] Ok I had to reflash firmware and emmc.
[2] Installed Sygic through N900 App Manager
[3] Moved backup folders: RES, DRIVE, MAPS, to MyDocs.
[4] Then had to run the Sygic Assistant
Then it worked for me.
