Did you not find it up to date?
If you go to the "text input" section in the introduction it has all info on how to enable and use the keyboards.

... thank you so much for trying! ... still definitely not working for me ... does it also work for you using 3G to connect to the web? (I've not got home broadband, so can't try that way) ... and do you have the '28' in the extension or street field? looks to be in street as there's no comma after it ... this is properly frustrating ... can't believe it's still not working for me ...

It works with 3G but as you figured the 28 is part of the street. Sorry for that, I never use the extension as I dont know what it's useful for and somehow automatically wrote it in the street.

Does it work like that?

... nope ... I originally had all my addresses with the numbers in with the street, and so figured that might be the problem originally ... seems not ... so if I have the addresses configured right I really don't know why it's not working ... thanks for confirming I have the addresses formatted correctly anyway!

It used to be present in the top menu, now it's a button. But it was always possible...

We are drifting away from the subject of the thread - sorry to all.

Have a look here on info on how to pre-load maps on your device so it doesn't download it over 3G/wifi - it might be related to your problem (?):
