yes u can use it on your N900.. first time u run it u gotta do this

install jhon

open xterminal

root
apt-get install leafpad
leafpad /home/opt/John/john.ini


Ctrl + S to save it (leave it empty)

then u can type

john (to see a full usage list)
or
john [OPTIONS] [PASSWORD-FILES]

Somone should just make an auto installing *.DEB for this. This is not hard to install, not sure why people are having such problems.

Follow everything on Post #1: It's very well written and it is all correct.

Edit: Don't skip steps Read all words. It WILL work!

Thank you. It's obvious that theres a lot of people just skipping straight to the tar attachment and expecting it to work like a deb

i am not quite sure what you mean?

maybe you meant the hildon file is not in the guide(attachment) on page 1?

Do the calculation for 100million words knowing the aircrack speed in your PC.
Also, being this dict created in Linux, you have to use aircrack in linux (due to newline issue). If you only have windows, try a Linux live cd (backtrack for example)
thx alot , iam downloading backtrack 4 R2 now and btw my n900 crack @ 95 keys/s loool :P (ideal overclocking )

i use bactrack4 r2 an its ace , got every thing you need all in a nice package !!

only problem im having is gettin backtrack to reconize my n900 thats proving a nightmare
