If I cannot get a GBA emulator to run smoothly on my n900, how is a PSX suppose to run smoothly?

Well, Super Mario 64 runs fine on mupen so I'm not sure where you're going with that. It all comes down to how well optimized the software is. Besides, I used to play GBA just fine on my n81 and it's CPU was much weaker than the Arm Cortex A8 on the n900.

Well I have a few Dragonball Z GBA roms on my n900 and using VGBA and the sound lags a lot, constantly stuttering which then slows down the game. I guess VGBA is badly optimised?

I guess I wrote this somewhere around here, but like the example of
my psp's N64 emulator, they've already released hundreds of updates,
and it's quite playable...
They just work really hard to make it so.
Anyway, only the day I see a SWKOTOR being played on my N900 that
I might have a heart attack, until then it's just hope the great game developers team has the free time for the builds.

Please don't release any updates for a while- I've got stuff to do and wouldn't be able to resist testing out a new version...

Ye VGBA is'nt the greatest emu around, the Nes emu is done by the same person/group I assume as the menu looks very similar, this also runs poorly. Is shocking when compared to picodrive.

I have to admit that I can't wait for a fully functional PSX emu on my N900, have soooo many old PS1 games just waiting to be ripped and chucked onto my N900. Neeeeeeed to play Dark Froces, I actually bought a copy in anticipation
