You can find it on the repositories (.deb file) ;you can use HAM or Fapman to install speedpatch.

This is all I did:

root
apt-get install speedpatch

Just for the record I didnt install the battery patch as I am overclocking, neither did I enable VDD1/2.

Patches are great, but nothing quite works like an extended battery 1510mah battery.

I wanted to delete batterypatch and speedpatch to reinstall everything clean again. I purged the 2 packages. Now when I start X term I get these errors:

"-sh: /home/user/.bashrc: line 5 cannot create /dev/cgroup/cpu/user/1467/tasks: nonexistent directory

-sh: /home/user/.bashrc: line 5 cannot create /dev/cgroup/cpu/user/1467/notify_on_release: nonexistent directory"

I looks like speedpatch isn't fully uninstalled. Maybe because I first used the .sh files and later the .debs. What should I do to fully uninstall it?

Great battery, i read somewhere this is the best for N900, something to keep in mind for later...
Yesterday i did everything on the first post thx to Karam, already had a speedpatch but did it all by X-Terminal now.
The speed and smoothness are a lot improved and the last 12 hours my battery went from full to 79%, so for the moment it seems to work ( normaly reboot drained my battery very quick and now did it 4 times with almost no draining at all )
Also overclocked to 900 MHz by editing the file @ kernel-power-settings

It was tested somewhere on this forum and proved to be one of the few that had a greater capacity than stated (1420 stated, actual 1510).

I've overclocked to 1ghz with no issues, been at that speed for over a year now.

I just do

root
kernel-config limits 250 1000
kernel-config save 1000max
kernel-config default 1000max
