open app manager and there is app called max cpu. you can overclock easily with it. if you want to do it manually then open filebox or any other 3rd party file manager with root access. navigate to usr/share/kernel-power-settings. there is a text document default. create copy of it in my documents and edit it with notepad with max and min freq. now rename the edited text doc to anyname u like e.g battery. and copy it back to usr/share/kernel-power-settings. open xterm gain root access then type kernel-config load battery and it will be loaded.

Hi, i have a quick question (this thread is 62 pages long...)

how would i flash the .bin files from pali's server? (http://atrey.karlin.mff.cuni.cz/~pali/)

specifically, u-boot+kp49.bin.new

or

u-boot+pr1.3+fb.bin

I am good with flasher just not sure to flash as a kernel or fiasco or what.

also would like to flash a version with framebuffer, but there are only images with fb for pr1.3? [edit]oh, i think it is for multiboot, ie fb or pr1.3

thanks for your time

Hi, this topic is huge now and I wasn't following it since a months cause I had no time.
I have question about new kernel.

Does blessN900, bleeding edge wifi drivers and h-e-n are still compatible with kp49?

I'm still on 46 and thinking about upgrading but features offered by 3 above is essential for me.

edit:

Ok I was to impatient.
All I mentioned works fine with new kernel

@hardkorek:
If you like to see wifi packet injection drivers in kp, please look at CSSU thread: http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...6&postcount=68

Blame this on the miscalculated Efuse values for SR.
Also on the fact that the device manufacturer who's supposed to grab a document from TI detailing how it's supposed to be implemented didn't bother with said document, among other things they didn't bother with, and now people are working hard to implement it.

It's a little rough around the edges, but SR VDD2=1 should be safe for most devices. SR VDD1=1 stability can be tested by playing a video (H.264 Baseline 3@800x480)
