Greetings guys,

fists of all I want to thank you all for putting so much effort in this thread. After reading all the posts and many hours of trying I finally managed to import my messages from my N97. The only problem is that most of the messages are not complete. They cut of at some point. For example, Whole message: "hey bob, how are you doing?"
imported message: "hey bob, how a" and that is it.
Does anybody know how I could fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
radu09

Firstly, thanks to the people who came up with this tool.

Now just the one problem I have. Everything's going according to order, except when I enter the last command:

run-standalone.sh ./smsimporter sms.csv

The first three commands work alright but when I enter this last command, it gives me an error saying "./smsimporter: error while loading shared libraries: librtcom-eventlogger.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

What can be the problem?

Has something changed in the latest firmware?

My n900 came yesterday (yes I finally did it ) and like any conscious user I first updated to PR1.3 and then started importing data from my old phone.

Sync worked perfectly for contacts and calendar but sms was not an option. Ovi Suite doesn't seem to support it either. So I came to this thread. Got the .csv files created, the latest binary (0.2.2) to the device, import doesn't give any errors but conversations is empty

Any ideas? Thank you
