still in love with this device, maximum 10 hours of full HTML web browsing in my pocket, that puts my 3hrs limit of operation laptop in a heavy buddy bag in to shame.

i always put into mind that its a good idea to handle a 600 buck device with care.

No I do't regret as my personal geeky phone but as a office phone I do! Its biggest downside is its stupid email client which looks like written by some school going kids as their pet project. Come on Nokia, write a better email app, business needs it.

No regret. Spent about a day in doubt before realizing what I had purchased myself.

However since I got the N900 I regret spending all that money to previous mobile phones. E71(2nd best), 51, 65, some forgotten models ...
In 99 or so my 6210 must have cost about the same as the N900.
To conclude should have stuck with the good old 2110 for an extra decade.
N900, will you stay with me till 2020?

I don't regret it based on the phones that were out when I got it.. This Summer I will be switching to the HTC EVO 4g for sure though 100%.

No regrets.

N97 was a major let down. Iphone doesnt have any of the features that I need (i dont really use apps). Android was great google move too fast for me and I didnt see much support and community for them as the move from one OS upgrade to the other. Sony Ericcson are far behind the race.

N900 covers all my basis except in the maps department. I really miss google maps. OVI maps for the N900 sucks majorly. But I love my N900 more than any of my other gadgets

dude todays news confirm that Ipad has the same cortex A-8 processor overclocked at 1Ghz that apple has been calling Apple 4 processor. Because of its size i am sure they must have added components to deal with overheating.

Now your question was do we regret buying N900? N900 has already been overclocked to 1Ghz (safe till 900Mhz), same exact processor as iphone 3gs and ipad yet it takes a u-turn here. Absolutely upto you how you want to keep it unlike Apple products. I have had a blast overhauling the conversations UI. I absolutely love the device and what it offers.

I do feel i use it way too much, that in itself says how great the device is. It has pretty much replaced my laptop for internet-usage and other basic multimedia usage.
