I've been rating the spam threads "Terrible". I will continue to do that to indicate I've reported a spam thread. I feel that doing this rather than posting a message saying "I reported this" will ease congestion and stop the spam thread from going to the top of the list each time I report one. Do we want to make this a standard symbol of being reported? Since the spammers are also rating the threads any rating less than Excellent would indicate it had been reported. Just a thought. I also add a tag with spam in it to indicate it has been reported.

I have reported his blogspot-landing site to google. May help if more people do that.

Perhaps his other sites could be targeted as well?

just a quick question, do we need to report all spam by one author or is reporting just one of that authors posts good enough for the moderators?

All it takes is one. It's broadcast to all moderators. I like the idea of the reporter notifying other members in the thread but Reggie and others disagree.
