Based on your pathetic ignorance, would you be able to tell the 808 PV is still using an ARM 11 when processing 41MP images? Can your brain process the idea, why the latest of quadcore chipsets don't support a resolution higher than 16MP? You are clueless and you'll never learn. You are not even worth the effort anymore.
so why not integrated into latest chipset, dude, wake up, i just curious, u just too much says, i just want this masterpiece got the best spec so we could get more experience!!! u never learn a thing!

^3rd maemo6x device, I already explained that, never gunna happen now, just get used to it mate.
Nokia may revisit Maemo (or a derivative) on the high-end in the future, once its contracts expires, but that's too far away to be certain.

Maybe it was too close to the actual Lumia launch/roll-out.
I know Indon has been announced as one of the next Lumia countries.
Sightly before before Australia, which starts in March sometime.
december, i remember, n9 launched here on december, and lumia's promo just began a weeks ago,

Yeah so started much later than Australia, & the 800 actually arrived earlier than it has in Australia.
So the N9 basically had very little chance in your country...

This is an e.g. of a country where Symbian wasn't doing "badly" compared to some 1st world countries.
Hence the N9 should've been targeted strongly, yet it clearly hasn't been given any air.

Not sure, I haven't checked....
But I do know that there's some very good prices in Oz now.
Even better than the best I've been in the EU (haven't searched heavily though)
Mainly with specialist retailers or smaller online retailers etc.
But big retail chains that are visible to the wider public, also have decent prices.
There's even some carriers* that haven't dropped it yet, despite the Lumia's launching any day.
But I don't think that will carry on for much longer...

*and their resellers

Love it

After the first day of MWC I am much more relaxed for Nokia. Lumia 900, Lumia 610 and the 808 The Lumia 610 will bring WP to the masses. The Lumia 900 is the WP flagship and the 808 is a pure monster, I mean 41 MP Pure View Technology and running Belle. My next phone for sure.

I see a big drop in N8 sales coming, a disintegration of mid/low Symbian Belle phones due to the Lumia 610. But also, with Lumia 800 and Lumia 900, the future for the N9 does not look all that nice.

The world doesn't stop. Everything changes, and the mobile industry changes faster than anything else. I am sure a real Linux phone like the N900 will emerge eventually, maybe real soon. But it will not come from Nokia, and it will not be a flagship device this time around either. Flagship devices are made for the general public, not for a small group of computer geeks (unless you count Android as Linux that is).

My bet for the next Linux phone is a Samsung device running a Tizen/Bada blend on Intel chipset or ZTE running some home-brewed Android like Linux on whatever chipset they get their hands on, maybe even both. But first, it's time for some 41 mega pixels

2 N8
3,4,5... Some dead cheap Nokia dumb phones
6 or lower: N9

After Belle came, the N8 is so good that it altogether is the best Nokia, and hence the real Nokia Flagship. Most people have no idea of operating systems. They think Belle is some "Nokia Android" and live happily with the N8, taking beautiful pics and downloading tons of apps.

Personally I have grown tired of Swipe. A nice concept, but ultimately flawed because there is no way of organizing things. Belle is so much better, and so is WP in the long run.
50% cheaper??? please show the links for those who want to buy N9 at half price!!!!

Tossing-up whether to get it or a WP 1st, may wait till Apollo+.
But first a top-end Android (YTBD), & some more N9's for devs/fam etc.
Also may get a Tizen phone in Q3, but it better be decent or I'll pass.

Where do you get these amazing powers of insight, it strikes us with awe

So you call the N900 a real Linux phone (which I tend to agree with).
Are you asserting it was a flagship phone?

Well, you wouldn't be offering any special insights to anyone there.

By the way, I haven't been following MWC closely (too busy).
Can anyone advise whether there was more detail about Meltemi?
