Well Nokia do at least know how to build a decent phone, just apparently don't know how to support it..

Hmm, log isn't that helpful.
What does it say if you use

apt-get install mp-fremantle-community-pr
in terminal (make sure you closed HAM first).

It seems to be working, its downloading the files.

Is it safe to use the terminal for a system upgrade?

I always thought HAM was the only way. I normally use x-term to update my software but never done a system update using it.

there is a bug
when i use negative color in camera then switch to normal nothing happen so i need to do it about 2 times to switch back to normal mode

what do you mean by "why", it depend on it because it provides the qt web runtime environment. I dont think the app author can do anything about it, it was nokia's job since the problem is in the runtime library.

also, even i am getting the message to update via pc suite. even i have libqt4-test. and the update size is 30mb.

Yeah I fixed this by just installing via x-term

Just follow mohammads earlier post with the apt-get command and then reboot after

I don't think that characterizing a bunch of mostly silent users as ungrateful is likely to be accurate unless you have special abilities to mindread.

i just updated to the latest release....
still testing tho but my rootfs have been eaten by atleast 26mb...
before this my rootfs is at 70mb, now i got 44mb....
any chances i can get back 26mb to my rootfs???
